The country is located in Central Europe and share a border with Austria (west), Slovak Republic (north), Ukraine (east), Romania (south-east), Serbia and Montenegro (south) and Slovenia (south-west). The climate of the country has four seasons and the heating period usually lasts for about 180 days.
