DEFINITION OF WOOD CHIPS

Wood chips are a by-product of cutting and sawing, or produced as such, as in cutting by chip removal. 

Specifications:
Healthy, no infestation with fungi or insects 
Dimensions: Length: maximum 25 mm, thickness: 3 - 5 mm, width: 20 - 30 mm 
Without bark 
Spruce or fir, no collateral

TOLERANCE AND REJECTION LIMITS
Bark

On principle,  wood chip delivery should be free from bark. As small quantities of bark are unavoidable due to technical reasons, a share of less than 3% is tolerated. 3% and more will cause deductions. The triple amount is deducted. Example: 3% pure bark means deduction of 9% wood chips (4% bark - 12%  wood chips, etc.). Wood chips with more than 6% bark cannot be processed. Delivery is rejected.
